Troy City is a city located in Lincoln County, Montana, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 957 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 985, giving it the 88th largest population among Montana. It has total area of 0.78 mi˛ (2.02 sq km), of which, 0.76 square miles (1.97 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 79th smallest by total area in Montana.
