Troy City is one of the city of Pike County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. It is home to over 13935 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 15148, It is 41st most populous in Alabama. It covers total area of 26.33 sq mi (68.19 square kilometre), of which, 26.24 square miles (67.96 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 28th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
