Trotwood City is a city in the Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. It is home to over 27420 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 26039, It is 52nd most populous in Ohio. The city comprises an area of 30.54 sq mi (79.1 square kilometre), of which, 30.53 square miles (79.07 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the tenth largest by total area among Ohio.
