Tripp City is a city in the Hutchinson County, South Dakota, United States. It is home to over 711 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 631, making it South Dakota's 103rd largest. The city comprises an area of 0.58 square miles (1.5 square kilometre), it is the 190th largest by area in the U.S. state of South Dakota.
