Trion Town is a one of the Chattooga County, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1993 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2058, It is Georgia's 248th largest by population . The town extends throughout a territory of 4 mi˛ (10.36 sq km ), of which, 3.98 square miles (10.31 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 206th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1993 people in the town, organized into 832 households, and 525 families living in the town. The population density was 500.9 people per square mile (193.4/km˛), making it the 330th most densely populated town in Georgia. There were 906 housing units at an average density of 227.6 per square mile (87.88/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.4 persons, and the average family size was 2.92 persons. In the town the population is diverse age-wise, with 21.7% under the age of 18, 10.9% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 18.4% from 45 to 64, and 22.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.9 males. The median age was 37.3 years, the median age of male residents at 32.6 and the median age of female residents at 42.4. The racial makeup of the town was 1808 White, 56 Black or African American, American Indian, 8 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 23 from two or more races and 97 Ohter races.
