Trenton City is one of the city of Mercer County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 85403 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 82883, It is New Jersey's seventh largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.15 square miles (21.11 sq km), of which, 7.66 square miles (19.84 sq km) of it is land and 0.49 square miles (1.27 sq km) of it is water, making it the 55th largest by size in New Jersey.
