The city has a total area of 7.5 mi˛ (19.42 sq km), of which, 7.3 square miles (18.91 sq km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 sq km) of it is water, it is the 92nd largest in terms of geographical size.

The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 96.92% White, 0.37% Black or African American, 0.41% American Indian, 0.78% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 1.26% from two or more races and 0.23% Other races.
