Trainer Borough is a United States borough located in the Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. In 2000, borough's population was 1901 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1831, It is 644th most populous in Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.34 sq mi (3.47 sq km), of which, 1.06 square miles (2.75 sq km) of it is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 585th largest by total area in Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1901 people, 712 households, and 490 families living in the borough. The population density was 1801.3 people per square mile (695.49/kmē), it is the 700th most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. In the borough the population was spread out, with 27.7% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 29.3% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 104.4 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 107.2 females. The median age is 35.7 years, The median age of males was 34.4 years, for females the median age was 37.1 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 1684 White, 175 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, 3 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 19 from two or more races and 19 Ohter races.
