Todd County is a county located in the United States of Minnesota. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 24426 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 23917, It is Minnesota's 42nd most populous county. The county spans an area of 979.34 square miles (2536.48 sq km), of which, 942.02 square miles (2439.82 sq km) of it is land and 37.32 square miles (96.66 sq km) of it is water, making it the 24th largest by size in Minnesota.

The population density was 25.9 people per square mile (10/kmē), giving it the 46th most densely populated county among the Minnesota. There were 11900 housing units at an average density of 12.6 per square mile (4.86/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.58 persons, and the average family size was 3.14 persons. In the county Population was distributed with 27.4% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 101.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102 males. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 23917, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 23421 White, 35 Black or African American, 166 American Indian, 93 Asian, 3 Native Hawaiian, and 199 from two or more races.
