Tivoli Village is a city in the Dutchess County, New York, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1163 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1135, It is the 295th least populous in the U.S. state of New York. The city has a total area of 1.79 mi˛ (4.64 square kilometre), of which, 1.76 square miles (4.56 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 572nd largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1163 people in the city, organized into 487 households, and 261 families residing in the city. The population density was 662.1 people per square mile (255.64/km˛), it is the 247th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of New York. There were 531 housing units at an average density of 301.7 per square mile (116.49/km˛). The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 3.1. In the city the population was spread out, with 23.8% under the age of 18, 16.8% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 84.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.4 males. The median age is 34.5 years, the median age of male residents at 32.8 and the median age of female residents at 35.3. The racial makeup of the city was 95.7% White, 0.43% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 0.95% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 2.06% from two or more races and 0.69% Other races.
