Thunderbolt Town is a one of the Chatham County, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the town was 2340 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2616, It is the 225th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 1.45 sq mi (3.76 square kilometre), of which, 1.27 square miles (3.29 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 159th smallest by size in Georgia.
