As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2616, It is the 225th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 1.45 sq mi (3.76 square kilometre), of which, 1.27 square miles (3.29 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 159th smallest by size in Georgia.
