Thompsontown Borough is a borough in the Juniata County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of 2000 the population was 711. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 688, giving it the 405th smallest population among Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 0.32 sq mi (0.83 square kilometre), makes it the 175th smallest by total area in Pennsylvania.
