Thomasville City is a one of the Davidson and Randolph counties, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 19788. Its population was estimated at 26526 in July 2008, making it the 36th most populous in North Carolina. It is spread over 11.15 sq mi (28.88 sq km), making it the 70th largest by size in North Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 19788 residents, 7978 households, and 5305 families in the city. The population density was 1775.2 people per square mile (685.41/kmē), giving it the 39th most densely populated city among the North Carolina.
