The Village City is a city in the Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States. It is home to over 10157 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 9769, giving it the 38th largest population among Oklahoma. The city encompasses an area of 2.55 sq mi (6.6 sq km ), of which, 2.54 square miles (6.58 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 258th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 10157 people, 4778 households, and 2723 families residing in the city. The population density was 3999.8 people per square mile (1544.33/kmē), giving it the most densely populated city among the Oklahoma. There were 4997 housing units at an average density of 1967.3 per square mile (759.58/kmē). The average household size was 2.12 and the average family size was 2.76. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 20.2% under the age of 18, 10.2% from 18 to 24, 34.4% from 25 to 44, 18.9% from 45 to 64, and 16.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 86.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.1 males. The median age was 34.8 years, The median age of males and females living in The Village City was 33 and 36.8 years respectively. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 80.19% White, 10.47% Black or African American, 2.54% American Indian, 1.91% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 3.73% from two or more races and 1.13% Other races.
