Teton County, Wyoming is a county of the United States of Wyoming. The population of the county was 18251 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 20376, It is the tenth largest in terms of population. The county comprises an area of 4221.8 sq mi (10934.41 kmē), of which, 4007.76 square miles (10380.05 kmē) of it is land and 214.04 square miles (554.36 kmē) of it is water, making it Wyoming's tenth largest county by total area. It is ranks first in the size of its inland waterways in Wyoming.

As of the census of 2000, there were 18251 people in the county, organized into 7688 households, and 4177 families living in the county. The population density was 4.6 people per square mile (1.78/kmē), it would be the eighth most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Wyoming. There were 10267 housing units at an average density of 2.6 per square mile (1/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.36 persons, and the average family size was 2.89 persons. In the county the population was spread out, with 19.9% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 38.3% from 25 to 44, 25% from 45 to 64, and 6.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 114.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 115.5 males. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 20376, The racial makeup of the county was 19804 White, 68 Black or African American, 107 American Indian, 168 Asian, 6 Native Hawaiian, and 223 from two or more races.
