Tequesta Village is a one of the Palm Beach County, Florida, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 5273 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5708, It is the 413th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 2.21 sq mi (5.72 sq km), of which, 1.75 square miles (4.53 sq km) of it is land and 0.46 square miles (1.19 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 579th largest by total area in Florida.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5273 people, 2344 households, and 1521 families living in the city. The population density was 3013.9 people per square mile (1163.67/kmē), it is Florida's 255th most densely populated city. There were 2834 housing units at an average density of 1619.4 per square mile (625.25/kmē). The average household size was 2.22 people, and the average family size was 2.75 people. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 19.1% under the age of 18, 4% from 18 to 24, 22.9% from 25 to 44, 27.1% from 45 to 64, and 26.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.3 males. The median age is 47.5 years, The median age of males was 45.7 years, for females the median age was 49.8 years. The racial makeup of the city was 5166 White, 25 Black or African American, 5 American Indian, 37 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 32 from two or more races and 7 Ohter races.
