Tenafly Borough is a borough in the Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of 2000 the population was 13806. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 14662, It is the 109th most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough spans an area of 5.2 sq mi (13.47 square kilometre), of which, 4.61 square miles (11.94 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.58 square miles (1.5 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 107th largest by total area among New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 13806 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 2993.4 people per square mile (1155.76/kmē), making its New Jersey's 237th most densely populated borough.
