Tega Cay City, York County, South Carolina is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 4044 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 5014, It is the 99th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 3.15 square miles (8.16 square kilometre), of which, 2.48 square miles (6.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.67 square miles (1.74 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 189th largest by size in South Carolina.
