Taylorsville Town is a town located in Alexander County, North Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 1799 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1854, It is the 286th largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2 mi˛ (5.18 square kilometre), it is the 380th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
