Taylor Mill City is a city located in Kenton County, Kentucky, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 6913 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 6746, It is the 68th most populous in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The city extends throughout a territory of 6.37 sq mi (16.5 square kilometre ), of which, 6.26 square miles (16.21 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 61st largest by total area in Kentucky.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 6913 residents, 2552 households, and 1941 families in the city. The population density was 1104.8 people per square mile (426.57/kmē), giving it the 233rd most densely populated city among the Kentucky. The population's age distribution was 26.4% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.6 males. The median age of the city's population was 36 years, the median age of male residents at 35.2 and the median age of female residents at 36.5. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 97.95% White, 0.42% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 0.65% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 0.64% from two or more races and 0.14% Other races.
