Tarpon Springs City is one of the city of Pinellas County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 21003 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 23369, giving it the 130th largest population among Florida. The city extends throughout a territory of 16.89 mi˛ (43.74 sq km ), of which, 9.14 square miles (23.67 sq km) of it is land and 7.74 square miles (20.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 105th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
