Taos Town is a one of the Taos County, New Mexico, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 4700. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 5551, It is 45th most populous in New Mexico. It covers total area of 5.37 sq mi (13.91 square kilometre), makes it the 97th largest by total area in New Mexico.
