As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 6581, It is the 179th largest in terms of population. The borough spans an area of 9.96 mi˛ (25.8 square kilometre), of which, 9.83 square miles (25.46 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 46th largest in terms of geographical size.
