Tallahatchie County is a one of the county from Mississippi's 82 counties, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 14903 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13027, It is the 19th smallest in terms of population. The county spans an area of 652.08 square miles (1688.88 square kilometre), of which, 643.92 square miles (1667.75 square kilometre) of it is land and 8.16 square miles (21.13 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 28th largest in terms of geographical size.
