Tainter Lake Cdp is one of the census designated place of Dunn County, Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2089 inhabitants. It is the 227th largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 21.46 sq mi (55.58 square kilometre), of which, 18.62 square miles (48.23 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.84 square miles (7.36 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 28th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is ranks 13 in the size of its inland waterways in Wisconsin.
