Swift County is a United States county located in the United States of Minnesota. Swift County had an official population of 11956 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 11035, It is the 24th least populous county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It has total area of 752.35 sq mi (1948.58 kmē), of which, 743.53 square miles (1925.73 kmē) of it is land and 8.82 square miles (22.84 kmē) of it is water, making it the 34th largest by size in Minnesota.

The population density was 16.1 people per square mile (6.22/kmē), it is 24th least densely populated county in Minnesota.
