Swansboro Town, North Carolina is a town of the Onslow County, North Carolina, United States. It is home to over 1426 people (2000 census). Its population was estimated at 1962 in July 2008, making it the 321st most populous in North Carolina. The town extends throughout a territory of 1.34 square miles (3.47 kmē ), of which, 1.22 square miles (3.16 kmē) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 kmē) of it is water, making it North Carolina's 191st smallest by total area.
