Swainsboro City is a city located in the Emanuel County, Georgia, United States. As of 2000 the population was 6943. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 7667, It is 108th most populous in Georgia. The city extends throughout a territory of 12.69 sq mi (32.87 square kilometre ), of which, 12.39 square miles (32.09 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 60th largest by total area.
