Surf City Town is a town located in Pender and Onslow counties, North Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Surf City Town is home to 1393 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2057, It is the 332nd most populous in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The town encompasses an area of 5.28 miē (13.68 kmē ), of which, 4.2 square miles (10.88 kmē) of it is land and 1.08 square miles (2.8 kmē) of it is water, making it North Carolina's 168th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1393 residents, 689 households, and 404 families in the town. The population density was 331.6 people per square mile (128.03/kmē), it is the 146th least populated town in terms of population density.
