Surf City Borough, New Jersey is a borough of the Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The borough has a population of 1442 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 1558, It is New Jersey's 57th smallest by population . The borough comprises an area of 0.92 sq mi (2.38 sq km), of which, 0.72 square miles (1.86 sq km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 sq km) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 71st smallest by total area.
