Superior Town is a town located in Boulder and Jefferson counties, Colorado, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, the population was 9011. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 10549, making it the 56th most populous in Colorado. The town spans an area of 3.97 sq mi (10.28 kmē), of which, 3.95 square miles (10.23 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 115th largest by total area in Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 9011 people, 3381 households, and 2286 families living in the town. The population density was 2279.2 people per square mile (880/kmē), it is 58th most densely populated town in Colorado. There were 3754 housing units at an average density of 950.4 per square mile (366.95/kmē). The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.2.
