Summit Hill Borough is a borough located in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. Summit Hill Borough had an official population of 2974 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 2956, It is the 465th largest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 9.41 sq mi (24.37 sq km), of which, 8.91 square miles (23.08 sq km) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 sq km) of it is water, making it the 52nd largest by size in Pennsylvania. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Pennsylvania.
