Sugarcreek Borough is a United States borough located in the Venango County, Pennsylvania, United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 5331 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 4969, It is Pennsylvania's 263rd largest by population . The borough comprises an area of 37.87 square miles (98.08 kmē), of which, 37.36 square miles (96.76 kmē) of it is land and 0.51 square miles (1.32 kmē) of it is water, it is the sixth largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in Pennsylvania.
