The census designated place has a population of 4165 as per the 2000 census data. making it Washington's 192nd largest. It has total area of 8.09 mi˛ (20.95 square kilometre), of which, 6.23 square miles (16.14 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.86 square miles (4.82 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 112th largest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.
