Stuart City is a city located in Martin County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Stuart City is home to 14633 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 15858, giving it the 190th largest population among Florida. The city comprises an area of 8.53 square miles (22.09 kmē), of which, 6.31 square miles (16.34 kmē) of it is land and 2.22 square miles (5.75 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 218th largest by total area in Florida.

As of the census of 2000, there were 14633 people, 7220 households, and 3419 families living in the city. The population density was 2320.5 people per square mile (895.95/kmē), it is the 338th most populated city in terms of population density.
