Stroudsburg Borough is a United States borough located in the Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. Stroudsburg Borough had an official population of 5756 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6294, making it Pennsylvania's 237th largest. The borough spans an area of 1.8 mi˛ (4.66 square kilometre), of which, 1.77 square miles (4.58 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 431st largest by total area in Pennsylvania.
