Strafford County is a one of the county from New Hampshire's 10 counties, located in Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Strafford County is home to 112233 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 121914, making it New Hampshire's fourth largest county. The county encompasses an area of 383.91 square miles (994.32 kmē ), of which, 368.76 square miles (955.08 kmē) of it is land and 15.15 square miles (39.24 kmē) of it is water, it is the smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

The population density was 304.4 people per square mile (117.53/kmē), making its New Hampshire's third most densely populated county. There were 45539 housing units at an average density of 123.5 per square mile (47.68/kmē). The average household size was 2.5 persons, and the average family size was 2.98 persons. In the county the population was distributed as follows: 23.7% under the age of 18, 13.6% from 18 to 24, 30.6% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.1 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 121914, The racial makeup of the county was 116291 White, 1310 Black or African American, 320 American Indian, 2399 Asian, 54 Native Hawaiian, and 1540 from two or more races.
