Stevens Point City, Wisconsin is a city of the Portage County, Wisconsin, United States. The city has a population of 24551 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 25327, making it the 27th most populous in Wisconsin. Its area is just over 16.23 square miles (42.04 sq km), of which, 15.31 square miles (39.65 sq km) of it is land and 0.91 square miles (2.36 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 37th largest by total area in Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 24551 people, 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 1603.2 people per square mile (619/kmē), making its Wisconsin's 116th most densely populated city.
