Sterlington Town, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana is a town located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 1276 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1400, It is the 237th largest by population in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is spread over 2.3 square miles (5.96 kmē), of which, 2.29 square miles (5.93 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it Louisiana's 238th largest by total area.
