Sterling City is a city in the Logan County, Colorado, United States. As of 2000 the population was 11360. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 12800, It is Colorado's 44th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.87 square miles (17.79 square kilometre), making it Colorado's 67th largest by total area.
