Sterling Cdp is a census designated place located in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. Sterling Cdp had an official population of 4705 in 2000. It is the 17th most populous in the U.S. state of Alaska. It has total area of 79.39 sq mi (205.62 sq km), of which, 77.31 square miles (200.23 sq km) of it is land and 2.08 square miles (5.39 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 78th largest by total area among Alaska.
