Steelville City, Crawford County, Missouri is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Steelville City had an official population of 1429 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1493, making it the 302nd most populous in Missouri. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.6 square miles (6.73 sq km ), it is the 215th largest in terms of geographical size.
