Steelton Borough is a borough in the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 5858 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 5598, making it Pennsylvania's 235th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.82 sq mi (4.71 kmē), making it Pennsylvania's 429th largest by total area.
