State Center City is one of the city of Marshall County, Iowa, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 1349 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1341, It is the 214th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.97 mi˛ (2.51 sq km ), giving it the 413th largest by total area among Iowa.
