Stark County, Ohio is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 378098 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 379214, It is Ohio's seventh most populous county. It is spread over 580.91 square miles (1504.55 sq km), of which, 576.14 square miles (1492.2 sq km ) of it is land and 4.77 square miles (12.35 sq km) of it is water, making it Ohio's 17th largest county by total area.

It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 379214, The racial makeup of the county was 341422 White, 28206 Black or African American, 1017 American Indian, 2678 Asian, 71 Native Hawaiian, and 5820 from two or more races.
