Stapleton City is a city located in Jefferson County, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 318 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 315 in July 2008, giving it the 109th smallest population among Georgia. The city encompasses an area of 1.75 square miles (4.53 square kilometre), it is the 195th smallest in terms of geographical size.
