Stambaugh City is one of the city of Iron County, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1243 inhabitants. It is Michigan's 398th largest by population . The city spans an area of 1.64 miē (4.25 kmē), it is the 362nd largest in terms of geographical size.
