St. Michaels Town, Maryland is a town of the Talbot County, Maryland, United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1193 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1068, It is the 96th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Maryland. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.91 sq mi (2.36 sq km ), of which, 0.83 square miles (2.15 sq km) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, it is the 93rd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.
