In July 2008, its estimated population was 366, It is 137th most populous in Alaska. The city extends throughout a territory of 28.08 mi˛ (72.73 sq km ), of which, 21.79 square miles (56.44 sq km) of it is land and 6.29 square miles (16.29 sq km) of it is water, making it Alaska's 165th largest by total area.
