St. John Town is a one of the Lake County, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8382 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 12999, It is Indiana's 81st largest by population . It is spread over 6.77 mi˛ (17.53 sq km), of which, 6.72 square miles (17.4 sq km ) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, it is the 71st largest in terms of geographical size.
